As part of system administration, it is important to keep track of critical system files and relevant permissions on them. If they aren't in place with right permissions it could lead to security breach, unstable system, application errors and in extreme cases unbootable systems. Here's a list of files and permissions to take care on a Linux machine. The file names, path, roles and permissions may vary depending on the linux distro in use.

Have done various projects on Security Auditing, Penetration testing, vulnerability assessment and also provide the Network Security Solutions through implementation of Honeypots, Firewalls, IPS and UTMs and have good hands on Cisco, Checkpoint, Clavister, Netasq & brief hands on Sonicwall, Gateprotect, Fortinet, Juniper and Cyberoam but limits to my skills are yet unexplored.
My other activities are, Active Participation to Guest Lecture in various Webinars globally on Network Security and also been chief guest speaker for Webinars from India, Nigeria, Great Britain, Singapore, Mexico, Korea and Australia. I love to conduct training on subjects like Network security, Cloud and Virtualization, IPv6 for interested individuals globally and take up projects on the same.
I don't believe in upgrading according to the market needs and requirement, rather the market should follow you up to upgrade itself in terms of knowledge, skills and experience..
